Sony’s Xperia Beta Program (Get ready for stable Marshmallow release)

Sony has launched Xperia Beta program for it’s devices including Xperia Z2, Xperoa Z3 and Z3 Compact. The main difference between “Concept for Android” and “Xperia Beta Program” is that the, beta program is very close to the final release which will be released for public whereas the “Concept for Android” was the experimental software. Sony didn’t confirmed the dates on which the above mentioned devices are getting the Marshmallow updates via beta program.

The Xperia beta program is only available for the Xperia owners living in Italy, Spain and Netherlands. Mean they will be receive the pre-release Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta on their devices but you have to register your self for the Xperia Beta Program. What you need to do is just visit Google Play and install the Xperia Beta Program App and follow the instructions. According to Google Play the opening are limited so you need to be hurry up to register your self.

  • Install it on your device and open it.
  • Tap the Next Button, then type your email, user name and fill a few common option.
